I'm a filmmaker, editor, and "social justice warrior" born and grazed in colorful San Francisco. The vibrancy of neon in the dead of night and the color red make for some of my favorite visuals, and I think that reflects a lot in my work. While I can't speak too objectively, my work centers on the intersectionality of Latino identity and queerness; introspectiveness and contemplativeness; societal marginality, and Bay Area life. I'm drawn to the brazen and unapologetic, and inspired by artists like Frida Kahlo, performance artist La Chica Boom, and San Francisco drag queen Per Sia. On a personal day, catch me tucked away in the corner of a cafe flipping through Star Wars comic books with a tall iced coffee (lots of simple syrup) handy.
